CAPITAL ANALYTICS -
EDITORIAL INTERN

January 2022 - March 2023

As the Editorial Intern for Capital Analytics, I had numerous responsibilities. For instance, I had to transcribe interviews and share them with the Regional Editor. In some days, I had three interviews to transcribe, which were due at a specific time. Also, I had to edit editorial charts to see whether the information matches the approved transcript. This information is used for the book, so this is an important responsibility. Moreover, I conducted interviews for the Internal Spotlight series. Before this is done, I had to come up with questions for the interviewee. As Editorial Intern, I also helped with topic and question sets. Recently, I've had the responsibility of finding new sources in the Tampa Bay area for the team to interview.

FIGHTING ILLINI PRODUCTIONS -
CREW MEMBER

August 2020 - December 2022

As a staff member at Fighting Illini Productions, I help produce live broadcasts for the Big Ten networks. Also, I'm in charge of putting up camera's, and I make sure that they're white balanced and focused. Moreover, I'm also in charge of directing games, such as baseball, soccer, tennis, and volleyball. After the games are done, I'm in charge of putting away all the equipment. Recently, I've been involved in producing social media posts (Instagram) for the Track & Field team. I edit their videos using Adobe Premiere Pro.

DAILY ILLINI -
NEWS EDITOR

August 2019 - January 2022

As the News Editor for Daily Illini, I wrote news stories for the online publication. I was responsible for writing about what's happening around campus, such as COVID-19. Also, I revised and edited the story before it was published. Whenever we had meetings, I also pitched potential story ideas that students could pursue.

THE PROSPECTOR -
EXECUTIVE NEWS EDITOR AND INTERN

August 2017 - May 2019

As Executive News Editor for The Prospector, I was in charge of the entire news section. I had to edit the story, make sure every deadline was met, and make the final page for the paper. During this time, I was also writing my own story, conducting interviews, and making sure I had art to accompany my story. Also, during the football and basketball seasons, I have to broadcast games for those watching at home.
